I Am An Instrument: PANOPTICON

A special one-time-only showing of Close Watch Television will be streamed as part of ‘I Am An Instrument: PANOPTICON’ which runs this Saturday night, April 11th, from 19:15 until around midnight. Curated by Katie Gerardine O’Neill, it features an incredible lineup of acts including Graham Dunning, Suzanne Walsh, Natalia Beylis and Oli Ryan.

Close Watch Televsion is made for all the thousands of people out there who’ve spent years wondering why I’m not in charge of a major TV network. This garbled ephemeral hodgepodge remix audiovisual splurge will show you what would happen if I was in control of telly content – and understand why such a catastrophe must be averted at all costs. CWTV stars Le Cain as Moon Tiger and Richard the Goat as JG Ballard.

INSIDE Acquired For Arts Council Collection

The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon has acquired Inside, the 2017 Langan / Le Cain feature film, for the Arts Council Collection. We're honoured and delighted!

The Arts Council's Collection of 20th and 21st century Irish art was established in 1962 and is one of the most important national collections in the country. All of the pieces in it were collected while the artists were working, rather than being a museum where works are collected retrospectively. The Collection tells the story of modern Irish art as it developed over fifty years.

It can be browsed at artscouncil.emeuseum.com
