Pantalla Fantasma @ The Guesthouse, Cork

Jorge Núñez and Sandra Cuesta will be on residency at The Guesthouse, Cork, for the first half of September 2015. As well as being artists in their own right, Jorge is director of Bilbao’s Pantalla Fantasma film festival and Sandra is on the selection committee.

Now in its 5th year, Pantalla Fantasma’s goal is to show weird, strange, borderline, outsider movies… to explore other unknown dimensions of the visual medias with no fear of surrendering to the format.

“If the white lid of the screen could reflect light of its own, it would burst the universe” Luis Buñuel.

Jorge and Sandra will present two events that will showcase a selection of films that played in last year’s Pantalla Fantasma festival and which represent its very particular underground programming style.

Sunday, September 6th, 3pm
The Guesthouse

Pantalla Fantasma Programme 1:
Valparaíso, 2011. Observaciones de un turista (Rubén García López, 2012, 50 mins)
