PERSISTENCIES OF SADNESS & STILL DAYS

I'm currently working on Persistencies of Sadness & Still Days, a four-hour feature film made in collaboration with Rouzbeh Rashidi. Rouzbeh will direct two hours, I'll make the other two. Part minimalist fiction film, part video diary, this experimental collage will incorporate the project Still Days with John McCarthy, which I've been working on for the past year. There are only two rules in this open and inevitably sprawling venture: the final running time must amount to four hours and both Rouzbeh and I must appear on screen.
