Illuminated Margins

The second edition of the Margenes Festival is taking place in Madrid late this month with selections of Spanish, Portuguese and Irish experimental cinema. Even if you can't make it, it's worth visiting the website. Particularly sublime is the potted history of Irish experimental filmmaking included in its pages.

My video Making a Home will be screened in the Irish shorts programme along with the work of several elders and comrades (not mutually exclusive categories!). Also, curator Esperanza Collado graciously saw fit to award me a curatorial credit for the discussions we had about choosing titles for this programme... But the real work was all hers!
